Alex Bryant
College & Young Adults Pastor

Pastor Alex Bryant is a 1995 graduate of Evangel University, where he was a four-year football letterman. He had the unique privilege of being on the Evangel team that played the first three exhibition football games in China (1991). Upon graduating from EU with degrees in Business Management and Biblical Studies, Alex began a career in sales at MCI Telecommunications.

In the summer of 2003, Alex left MCI to pursue his calling into full-time ministry. Along with his wife, Angela, Alex served in the Student Development Department at Evangel University. It is there, while living among the college students that Alex and Angela realized this would be the age group they wanted to devote their life to reaching. While in college, young people make several decisions that will decide the flow of their life forever. Alex and Angela feel called to help speak wisdom from the Word of God into the lives of students at the point in their life.

As part of his ministry preparation, Alex was a part of James River Assembly in Ozark, Missouri, from September of 1992 until relocating to Fort Myers in 2006. During his time at JRA he served in numerous roles, including youth leader, usher, choir member, adult Bible fellowship teacher and, in his final role before joining the FAOG team, he was the assistant youth pastor for two years.

Pastor Alex and Angie have 4 handsome sons, Trey, Michael, Mason, and Joshua and one beautiful daughter, Katherine. Alex has the family he always wanted and is doing the ministry he was created to do.
